What started with a songwriter hiring a producer for one demo became a great friendship and long term songwriting partnership. Dan O’Leary honed his chops on the streets of Nashville before moving back to Southern C-A. Seth Freeman went from Berklee College of Music in Boston to San Francisco with his EMI-signed band before he started composing and producing music out of Los Angeles. Even before they stepped into the studio to begin their first recording session, they felt the collaboration click. Ten tracks later and the two had created a band to channel their songwriting efforts with the eponymous album title, Still Spark. Since then, the Freeman / O’Leary songwriting team has continuously churned out songs, pulling from their combined experiences and perspectives, creating songs with a story to tell.
